Pinpointisms
Pinpointisms are snippets and soundbites from our AFI Research Team as they compile the ground-breaking PINPOINT Archive. What inhabits the gap when space-making appears to be absent? Is a pinpoint a tactic or a tool? How do you define a first line of enquiry? >
Pinpointers
The AFI’s Pinpointers comprises a team of African and African Diaspora researchers, in an archive of the most innovative and provocative African and African Diaspora practitioners. The researchers aim to apply a level of criticality in their search, finding alternative ways of ‘looking’ in order to find new talent. The team is actively and intentionally expanding the term ‘African’, and is interested in sensibilities that go beyond the nation state, beyond race and skin colour, beyond disciplinary boundaries, beyond language. >
